Oh what a wonderful day

Skittles, Art, Dinosaurs and Teaspoons
Yes, those four special things made my day

I'm a teenage girl... we've sussed this already yes? so anyways my day started off playing "i never" in the form room with some crazy cats i call my friends, or minions... which ever you prefer! So then we had this marvelous subject called history and due to my history/drama/art/English/re buddy being ill two of my other minions came and sat next to me.

We did try to do the course work, but it was really hard... so Naomi had a pack of skittles! and so we amused ourselfs by playing this game using the skittles as counters (it was historical so don't worry! our education wasn't effected!) Anyways it ended up that our skittles committed suicide a few times... how? i hear you ask? well it went like this:

"Naomi? can i borrow a pen?" Naomi turns round

*Harri eats skittle*

"Harri? where did my skittle go?" *shrugs*

"committed suicide maybe?"

so yes... that was our little history adventure... it was fun honest (ooh and i survived the game every time!)

Dinosaurs... err... yes, dinosaurs! wonderful creatures that can apparently (according to my good friends Emily and Lara) steal oranges :s

We have to wait for our bus, and Emily and Lara have just realised there very good at dinosaur impressions... so my afternoon started with them attempting (and i use that very loosely) to teach me how to be a dinosaur... impossible i know!! :o

so i have now compiled a list of things you need to know to be a dinosaur...

  • Hunch your back slightly

  • Pull a demented face

  • Hop on your feet, not moving your legs when you run

  • Make a strange eeekaaawwww noise

  • Hold both arms out in front of you (about boob level) and make claws with your hands.

  • Run at a fast pace toward someone and bingo! your a dinosaur!!

Helpful isn't it? maybe i'll post a video once i have mastered this special talent!

now for the teaspoons... so i was sat on my bus quiet happily this morning, thinking to myself about something i got told earlier this morning... about one of my friends sending photos of himself *gasps* naked to a girl who rejected him! and then it struck me... this boy (ogar or slave as we like to call him) covered his "manhood" with a teaspoon... so that got me thinking, if his "manhood is small enough to be covered by a teaspoon then it must be pretty small yes?

So then that made me laugh, so i texted this to my other friend who was on the second bus... only to receive a text from the spoon boy! it went a little bit like this;

"Gee thanks! there is nothing wrong with my "manhood" and if u need proof... be my guest :-p xx"

to which i replied

"eww no!"

so yes... that was my rather crazy day! xD

and don;t worry! My spoon friend said i could put this on here as long as i told no-one his name! xD so I'm not being mean! really! we're good friends so its just a laugh :)

anyways i must go get on with my art!

late at night ramblings

Oh what a lovely world, what lovely stars

i mean, look at them... they just look so perrrrrty

Anyone who knows me will know i love the stars, i think they are be-a-ut-iful! seriously, they hold the key to our future no-one has ever really had the power to unlock their secrets and i hope no-one does! because their mystery is all part of the beauty!

I've thought for a long long time about what the stars mean to me, who is out there watching me, and most of all about how crazy it is, that we are just tiny insignificant dots and those things suspended in the midnight black sky (yes, i know my art teacher mr.woodall believes that nothing is actually black, which is why he hides the black paint!) but the sky is really really black, not a silly black but a scary dark sinister black. Yet at the same time it's almost comforting the way the sky hangs over us, like the lid to an un-opened box. protecting us.

(p.s my phone just made such a loud sound from a text message that it made me jump! so whoever has just texted me is DEAD)

ohhh how i wish i was a star! so i could shine over the world and watch over my friends, like the star in Stardust (now that is a film worth watching) anyways i love that film, and as the star says

"i like to watch the people on earth have adventures!"

well, i never have adventures! so i might as well become a star and watch other peoples! then i could sit up there and look at all these silly people getting into trouble and be like "oooh you done baaaad" of course i don't talk like that in real life (I'm actually rather posh apparently :)

OHMYGOSH THERE IS A SHOOTING STAR OUTSIDE MY WINDOW - MAKE A WISH QUICK!

so i was sat there typing, talking about stars and suddenly i look up and there it is! a gold streak across the sky, and no it wasn't a space ship! it really was a shooting star!

so i made my wish and now i hope it comes true :)

if it does i will tell you promise!

Don't you just love wishing on stars and hoping your wishes come true? i know i do! but then... i am a crazy Disney obsessed girl who believed in the song "wish upon a star" don't know it? well it goes like this:

"when you wish upon a star,
makes no difference who you are... everything your heart desires will come to
you"

What Is Love?

i often spend days at a time asking myself what life is about.

You see, everything in this life happens for a reason doesn't it? we all go through life, not knowing whats going to happen to us. We have been brought up in a society where we are cushioned by fairy stories of Prince Charmings and Princesses who get locked in towers by evil witches and they allways get a happily ever after. But in real life happily ever after is never as easy as it seems. Trust me!

My online dictionary (yes, i have it saved to favorites) defines love as the following:

Love: a feeling of great fondness or enthusiasm for a person or thing

You see, someone once told me i don't know what love is, and i didn't. But when
someone says something like that to me i can't help but spend hours thinking about it! So then it struck me... i do know what love is,
there are hundreds of different types of love, well not that many but still. So then i was thinking back to my Romeo and Juliet Essay for English! i
know, I'm a complete geek but still!

You can love someone in so many different ways, there's:

  • Courtly Love - where someone tries to win someone over by being there and doting on them

  • Family Love - the love we have for our parents, and our siblings. Its unconditional, meaning that even though we fight, we still love each other.

  • Lust - yes, that well known feeling of desire, it's fun for a while, but never lasts.

  • Devine Love - when you know someone so completely that you know exactly how they will react, what they are thinking, how they are feeling. Everything, you don't need to speak to enjoy what you have.

  • Self Love - i have so much of this, and its not vanity! its the appreciating yourself and loving who you are, even though you may hate your legs, your nose or even your hair. But being respectful of your body shows self love.

So you see, there are at least five different types of love, so no-one can really tell if your in love or not! so if anything this little blog entry of mine is to tell those who read it, and i know this will sound so cliche but...

Listen To Your Heart

It's an important part of your body, and no-matter how many teachers and headmasters and parents tell you to use your brain more don't listen, (unless its in maths, then its probably a good idea!) but seriously, nothing can guide you more than your heart... it can take you to places that you didn't even know about. Lead you to people who you haven't even met yet, and best of all it can help you make those decisions that can change your life. So never block out your heart... because if you do you'll never find "happiness" whatever that actually means!
